Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about magnetic component selection, certifications, and customization

How do FeNi powder cores compare to ferrite cores?

FeNi (50%Fe-50%Ni) powder cores vs ferrite: ① Higher Bs≥1.5T (ferrite 0.3-0.5T) for high current applications; ② Wide temp range -40°C to +180°C; ③ 30% volume reduction; ④ Gapless design for better EMI. Ferrite remains cost-effective for >500kHz applications.

Do you offer custom magnetic components? What is MOQ?

Yes, we offer OEM/ODM customization including custom size, material, inductance, and packaging. Standard MOQ is 10,000 pcs per model; sample orders negotiable. Engineering team responds within 24 hours with free technical evaluation.

What certifications do you hold?

We hold IATF 16949 (Automotive Quality Management), AEC-Q200 (Passive Component Qualification), ISO 9001 (QMS), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and RoHS/REACH compliance. All certificates available upon request.

What is the lead time for standard products?

Standard models (YTFN-6028, YTFN-8040) stocked with 2-4 week lead time. Custom designs 6-8 weeks. For large-volume orders, please confirm capacity in advance. 24/7 FAE support available.

Are your cores suitable for EV charger applications?

Yes. Our FeNi cores are widely used in DC fast chargers and OBCs. AEC-Q200 qualified products support 800V platforms at 20kHz-100kHz with μ variation ≤8% (-40°C to +180°C). Contact us for the EV application design guide.

Do you ship worldwide? What are your export terms?

Yes, we export worldwide including North America, Europe, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Export terms (FOB/CIF/DDP) and payment terms are negotiable; samples ship via DHL, FedEx or UPS with tracking. Contact us for a shipping quote to your destination.

Can you provide free samples? How do I request them?

Sample orders are negotiable and technical evaluation is free. Send your target specs (inductance, current, size, frequency) through the contact form or email [email protected], and our engineering team will respond within 24 hours with a recommendation and sample plan.

What core materials and applications do you support?

We specialize in FeNi (iron nickel) powder cores and ferrite cores, and evaluate other powder materials such as Sendust and MPP on request. Key applications include AI GPU VRM (H100, B200), EV chargers and OBC, solar inverters, energy storage, server POL and industrial power supplies.
