Manufacturing & sampling

Geometry changes and sampling

A geometry change is quoted per project: tooling and sampling are planned from your drawing, with scope and schedule agreed before the order.

YUTE product range: FeNi and ferrite cores with molded power inductors
  1. 01

    Tooling and machining

Pressed geometries require a tool; machined samples do not. Both routes are quoted per project, with the schedule agreed before the order.

  2. 02

    Material evaluation

FeNi powder, MnZn and NiZn ferrite compared at your operating point, under the same test conditions.

  3. 03

    Machined samples

Machined samples are cut to the released drawing; pressed geometries follow once the tool is made.

FAQ

FeNi powder cores and ferrite cores — common questions

The questions application engineers ask most often — and if yours is not here, ask us directly.

What does YUTE Magnetics manufacture?

YUTE Magnetics is the export brand of Zhejiang Yute Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., based in Haining, Zhejiang, China. The company produces FeNi powder cores, ferrite cores, copper-iron co-fired molded inductors and custom magnetic components.

What is a FeNi powder core?

A FeNi powder core is pressed from an iron–nickel alloy powder. The gap is distributed inside the core rather than cut into it, so inductance holds up under heavy DC bias and saturation sets in gradually instead of dropping off a cliff. That is why these cores are used for energy-storage and filter inductors in switching supplies. Material-level values — permeability, saturation flux density, core loss, temperature range — are in the FeNi material data.

Where are FeNi powder cores used?

Typical uses include AI GPU and accelerator power, on-board chargers and DC-DC converters in electric vehicles, photovoltaic inverters, battery storage, server and telecom supplies, and industrial drives. Whether a given part fits a design depends on the actual operating point.

Which certifications does YUTE Magnetics hold?

Quality management is certified to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, and environmental management to ISO 14001. RoHS and REACH declarations are available for the materials we supply. AEC-Q200 is a product-level qualification, assessed per part number. Certificate numbers, issuing bodies and scope are available on request.

How is quality verified?

Inspection scope and sampling are defined per product type in the control plan. Process parameters and test data are recorded by production lot and can be traced back to the raw-material lot.

Can cores be customised?

Yes. Custom magnetic components can be specified by size and geometry, alloy ratio, coating and electrical parameters. One team handles quotation and application engineering, so the engineer who answers the first enquiry stays with the project through sampling and volume.

How do I select the right core for my design?

Start from the operating point: inductance, DC bias, ripple current and the temperature the part will see. Send those with your drawing and we will propose a material and a geometry, then confirm the numbers against an evaluation build.

Where is YUTE Magnetics located?

The company is based in Haining, Zhejiang, China. This website is published in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, German and French.

How do I request a quote, sample or datasheet?

Send the part number or your electrical requirements through the contact form, or write to info@yutemag.com or call +86-197-0387-8629. Sales and application engineering answer from the same team; samples of the standard series can be requested.
